Welcome to Sheila’s Quilt Studio. Since retiring from public school teaching a few years ago, I have become passionate about the art of quilt making. I have always been a sewer and was taught to sew as a young child by my mother. My love of quilt making was inspired by the beautiful quilts made by my grandmother, my aunt Joan, and my own mother, all of whom were fantastic quilters throughout their lives.

My other passions include jazz piano, gardening, and reading great novels. I am also a wife, mother of two grown daughters, and a grandmother to three beautiful children. I reside with my husband in the Parkville area of Baltimore County, Maryland.
